Step 1: Should I, or shouldn't I?

Ever since I started attending UVU in 2007 I've always wanted to go on study abroad, but never thought it was a possibility. It just costs SO much money! I assumed I would never go. But year after year many of my friend would come back, and tell me about the amazing time they had, and all the theatre they had the chance to see.


Finally, I realized that if I want to do something I have to make it happen. I decided in August of 2010 that I was going to attend the 2011 Theatre Study Abroad Program through UVU. The program is an amazing opportunity. I was still concerned about the money, but after I spoke to student after student they all confirmed that the experience was worth the expanse. I was determined to get help one way or another though. I sent letters out to my extended family explaining how beneficial the program will be to my degree. The response was overwhelming. Almost half of the program was paid for. I'm pretty much the luckiest.


Now it's July 7th, 2011, and I leave in one week. . . Europe - HERE I COME!!!
